Kaohly Her

Kaohly has been a professional in the finance industry for over 15 years. Most recently, she was a Relationship Manger with American Express providing business consulting service for American Express national and global institutional clients. Kaohly obtained her BBA in Investments, Finance and Banking with a specialization in International Business from the University of Wisconsin Madison and her MBA from Northeastern University. In addition to the Hnub Tshiab board, Kaohly is a city of St. Paul Commissioner for the department of Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity, and an Advisory Board Member of the Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood. In her spare time Kaohly volunteers as a Sunday school teacher at the Hmong Community United Methodist Church, is a martial arts instructor at Kuk Sool Won of St. Paul, crochets and cooks. Kaohly is the wife of Kong Her, an Investment Manager at Allianz Life and adjunct finance professor at Metropolitan State University, and mother of two beautiful girls named Taylor and Ayden.
