Dr. Lee will talk about the role
of women on shaping Hmong history. Her talk will dispel
the myth Hmong women were not silent witnesses to
history, but in fact were active participants.
Dr. Lee is the first Hmong woman
to receive a Ph.D. from the University of
Wisconsin Madison in history. She currently teaches at
the University of Minnesota.
